I delight in the surprise of drawing living things, the human figure, a plant, flower or landscape.

The energy that is contained in nature and expressed through change in light, growth, or decay inspires me. This energy I sometimes express as personalities and human relationships.

Applying a combination of materials on a drawing or painting gives the complexity that I'm trying to reflect.

I've enjoyed the varied jobs of owning a futon store, teaching art and being the mother of three great kids.
