Artist's Statement

Art eats logic. Art can be anything, on everything, using anything, with anyone, as anyone, for anyone. An artist can create an imaginary world, trap it on a 2 dimensional surface, show it to everyone, change a mind and calm a cliché, all in the process of inventing one image, one vision no one has ever seen before. Me? I like to play in my own world where anything is possible: play with a sense of humor.

Concentrating in painting, photography, and electronic imaging, my images are descriptions of thoughts I experience. Some are compliments to something beautiful, but most are like birds with balloons: weird, ironic, metaphors. I am inspired by the minds of others, the dreams of all, and an occasional twist in a daily routine. But in the end, composing these images is just my way of telling you a story.

I use highly saturated hues in the company of high contrast brightness levels. In other words, this method combines feature hues, coupled with the purity and publicity of bright white light, contrasting with the dingy, dark indifference of deep black. All to conceive something I hope the viewer will remember when he or she thinks of art.
