MAIN STREET ART WORKS CLOSES ITS DOORS AFTER 11 YEARS
Having been a part of this art community for over 11 years has made us better artists, and hopefully, made Hilbert a better place to live. This part of Wisconsin saw many exciting exhibitions in our gallery and brought visitors to this small town who might've never considered coming here otherwise.
Remember these shows?
...and many, many more Each of us has grown considerably in our working proximity to each other, and it is that fusion of creativity that made MSAW such an exciting destination.
Well, as an arts co-op we have parted ways, yet we maintain close family ties to each other. It was this closeness, this trust, this working intimate knowledge of each other that made us bigger than the sum of our parts. We wish to THANK YOU for supporting us these past 11 years, and for allowing us to be a part of your lives.
We as artists will continue to create and exhibit art, and visit with each other often. Please remember us fondly and look for us wherever and whenever you find great art!
Please applaud the creative works of the current MSAW artists: Bonnie de Arteaga, Sarah Birschbach, RaeAnn Blom, Pat Filzen, and Daniel W. Green.
We also remember the contributions of our former members: Mary O'Leary, Tina Siebers, Scott Edwards, Teresa Lind, Lee Mothes, Kate Bradley, Terri Hope, Judy Treichel,
Chintana Haas, Justin Boerst, Leah Abrahams, Cynthia Brown, and Karla Vanden Langenberg.
